North Coast Stoneware was inspired by the art pottery expression formed in the 1970's. During this era the passion for natural landscapes flourished in the art design world. McIntyre crafted a signature series supporting this drive by creating custom glazes that enhanced the textures and natural beauty found in the stoneware body. The ceramic glaze offerings in the North Coast collection are colorful, shiny and slightly transparent. These beautiful glazes and body characteristics compliment natural materials such as stone, wood and fabrics.
